Bio

Hi, My name is Robert Voigt and I am an actor located currently in the Tucson, Arizona area. My experiences include Theatre, Film, and Voice Acting. I’m a graduate of the University of Arizona with a BA in Theatre Arts and a minor in Marketing. On top of that, I am also a student of the Bennett Theatre Lab & Conservatory as well as a singing student at Allegro School of Music. I’ve also had the opportunity to study abroad in Moscow, Russia where we spent two weeks learning the Stanislavsky System of Acting at the Moscow Art Theatre. I’m certified for Unarmed, Broadsword, and Rapier and Dagger stage combat training. I have performed with many local film directors in pieces like Till the End (2019), Heist to Meet You (2021), Punchline (2022). Not only that, but I was recently apart of playing the male lead in the short film, Camp Rebel (2022), which premiered this year at the Rhode Island Film Festival. I also have been in a handful of theatrical performances such as From the Fishbowl (2021), and New Directions Festival (2022), and the 50th annual performance of TECUMSEH! (2022) as Tenskwatawa. Now I’m getting the chance to even dip my toes in the voice acting world! No matter what I’m doing, I’m always putting my best foot forward. It took me a long time to figure out which path I’d want to take in life, but I think I’ve finally found it. As my teacher, Phillip Bennett, once said “Art isn’t about learning how to do something, it’s breaking the limitations you hold for yourself to express who you are.” I have so many people who have helped me along the way and without their support I wouldn’t be here today!
